I never post comments, but I just had to comment on this fantastic build! I will definitely be building this in my own play through. Also, some times simple is better. Far too often do I see ships that are plastered with excessive parts. They turn out to be big eye sores in my opinion. This fits the lore of the game perfectly. Great work! Keep them coming!

I know I'm a little late bit what if you put a fast travel marker on top of a pressure plate and the pressure plate activates the initial toggle so you don't have to worry about clicking it every time you show up

@Darkdally did you ever see up close that koani boss smuggler pilot. I always killed his chooper with explosive drone so in all my playthroughs I never saw what he looked like xD can you take him out in with assault rifle or something when you get to koani would be fun

How did I not know you could ride in the trunk... I've beat it 3x... once in normal mode and once each in ghost with squad and ghost mode solo.

Darkdally greetings. Here are the distances for weapon sound footprint. I think I got them from you but that was a long time ago. Order Weapon, Suppressed meters, Bare Muzzle meters - Sniper, 48,130 - Shotgun, 40, 108 - LMG, 40, 108 - AR, 33, 92 - SMG, 23, 61 - Pistol - 18, 48. Just because you said in the video you didn't have them which may mean 'handy' but just the same here you go. By coincidence my favorite loadout is the Tar21, Mk14 occult, and the 556 or m12 pistols. That Tar is so versatile and great for building clearing. I also tend to carry the P90 or MP7 if I know I will be doing indoor work or close work then I will often team it with the Mk17 as a quasi sniper rifle/AR/nade launcher platform. A very versatile loadout it is. I tend to run my AR's with iron sights and the Tar 21 has the best iron sights in the game IMHO. By being familiar with where the shots land I can do further distances by just lining the front sight on the targer at a lower point on the front sight. The conical front sight helps with the visibility for part of the way down the sight. I'd have to check but I believe the middle of the front sight is about 150m and the bottom about 200m. But I am also a fan of the Digital sight as it has the widest field of view of any optic, including the panaramic - believe it or not - but I did test it. The widest FOV is the iron sight set up which I long ago [In the old Novalogic game Delta Force Black Hawk Down] found it cuts down on the chance of getting blind sided. The narrower the FOV the easier to get blindsided becomes. I still play Wildlands and Breakpoint. So, if you would like a coop partner give me a yell - even if I'm in another game. [as long as I'm not coop'ed already in the game of course]. Love to kill some baddies with you. BTW I can capture video and edit video also. Great work man, love your Wildlands series!

I just jumped in, with the new content, basically blind a few days ago. I stumbled upon the Mantis ship, which is really good compared to the Frontier. It kicks ass in dog fights. And half the time, the Pirates shit their pants and run, as soon as they see my ship lol. "It's the Mantis!". "Lets get th outta here!" Lmao. The only downside is the limited cargo space, but the built in shielded compartment is nice. I hijacked a veruun ship, and decided to modify it. All with only class A. I bumped her up from a 2 to 4 crew cockpit. Swapped around the existing 2x1 and single habs, which allowed me to go from single to double stacked cargo containers, and a 1 block shorter length overall, which looks better imo. I upgraded the 2 side engine to the best i could get, added a matching 3rd top mounted engine to the back, upgraded the grav, and bumped the fuel up from 50 to 160. All in all, i spent about 80k between the reg and rebuild. I have a class A ship, that seats 4 crew and 2 passengers, holds 3200kg cargo, plus 200kg shielded, with a jammer, and can travel up to 160. She only has 50 mobility, but shes good the couple points i put into piloting, and the extra perks from 2 additional crew. The hull is now over 600, and It came equipped with laser, missiles, and Particle, so she handles herself well in a fight, And she has every work station set up, like a full workshop on wings, with room for an 900kg in extra storage containers, gun racks, 6 beds, and displays. I know there will be shit that blows this out the water later on, but shes the workhorse I needed to get me through missions. I couldn't do any cargo runs, and now I can take almost all of the cargo missions ive seen so far, deliver passengers at the same time, fend off pirates, and be able to run around and explore unincumbered. So far im enjoying the game, and this has beeny favorite part.

On fetch quests you can use the bag icon to essentially get a Cartesian coordinate of where the supplies are. I often use this to cheese my way through tier 1/2 trader quests. It also allows you to complete quests in about 5 minutes.

cool vid. a few things of note from my experience: the dew collector is your main source of water, you will need a lot of glue/duct tape later, so 2-3 dew collectors per person is about the required amount. Wearing light and heavy armor. the stamina per second while obviously reduces your stamina gain, but in using that stamina, your food is used to regain the stamina. the water filter mod for your head can also be a temporary buff from taking a vitamin (the little green pill) and also works on food not only murky water. there are a couple food recipies that are heads above the rest for basic gameplay. the steak and potatoes 50 food, no water used. also the Yucca smootie is the only drink that does not require water to craft, it uses a snowball, you can get the snowballs but hitting ice machines or snow biome. Put a point into Physician will not only unlock the ability to craft those First aid bandages, but you can also cure sprained legs with a splint. the other way to deal with broken and sprained limbs (you can break your arms too) is taking a steriod to ignore the pain and stop the debuff going up. Damn, that ended up a wall of text.

Hey I am currently playing ghost mode and I need tips and suggestions about which skill to upgrade

Having large bounties creates epic space battles over the major planets of the settled systems. I sided with the fleet and have all other factions attack me at once. If you survive the loot from 20+ ships is awesome. Those galbank ships drop a lot of creds. Just have a tank for a ship with a lot of hull, 2 sets of strong turrets, missiles, good shields, and plenty of ship parts.

I would bet the difference in damage depicted in the stats is over range. Short barrels likely just have a steeper damage drop off over 150M

I wish someone would make videos which are about 2-3 minutes and focus on one specific things in building, it is very confusing system they have added to this game... And im even that one who loves to build in all survival games... even for me its really confusing system and i hope fallout 5 or whatever title we get next its improved to the level you dont need to go to youtube and look for devs videos about how things work or someone who has spend hundreds of hours to figure them out themselves.. What i was looking for is that how i snap concrete wall straight to concrete stairs, this is what google give me as result, but watching 19 minutes video without certainly know if it has the answer.. i prefer look elsewhere, sorry nothing personal to you.
